Empowering Youth Through Heritage & Education

At The Concrete Rose Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of education and cultural heritage. Our annual HBCU tours provide young African-American girls with the opportunity to explore prestigious Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) while immersing themselves in the rich history of African-American achievements and civil rights.

Increased College Enrollment:

Studies show that exposure to college campuses significantly increases the likelihood of minority youth pursuing higher education. Approximately 60% of young Black and Hispanic Americans enroll in college, reflecting the positive impact of such initiatives.

Cultural Connection:

Our tours not only highlight academic opportunities but also immerse our girls in African-American history, from civil rights landmarks to historic universities, reinforcing their cultural identity and resilience.

Personal Growth:

By walking the paths of iconic leaders and visiting historic sites, our girls gain a deeper understanding of their heritage and the importance of education in achieving their dreams.
